In this workshop, participants will learn how to create layered and textured prints using the pochoir (French for ‘stencil’) technique used in 19th century France, inspired by Trianon Press Collection. This method can be seen in the exhibition in works by William Blake, Ben Shahn, and the studio workshop of Pierre Crampe, and was also used by such artists as Picasso, Matisse, Cassatt, and Miro.

This event may be photographed or recorded.
