Creating a safer, more informed UCSB community takes work- and it’s work that’s been happening for decades. The Women's Center, CARE Office, and Take Back the Night have led the way in increasing access to resources for survivors of interpersonal violence and education on intervention strategies.

Join us for a collaborative workshop to learn more about the history of our three organizations, the importance of advocacy, and how to intervene to stop harm from occurring. We will be focusing on how our advocacy has shaped trauma-informed and intersectional resources, as well as the ongoing work to create cultural change. Finally, we will also learn and practice real-life bystander intervention strategies to help create safer, more informed communities.

Food will be provided!
