Please join us in conversations with first generation graduate students as they share their experiences into their field of study and their journey as a First-Generation Graduate Student. Topics of discussion will include navigating imposter syndrome, self-care strategies, and how to survive and thrive in academic spaces.

The event will consist of a graduate student panel and a networking mixer between first-generation undergraduate and graduate students. The event will feature graduate students from a wide range of STEM, social science, education, and humanities fields.

**Book: "Is Grad School for Me?: Demystifying the Application Process for First-Gen BIPOC Students" will be provided for the first 77 students who sign-in on the day of the event!

Dinner will be provided through UCSB Campus Catering.
