For anyone interested in pursuing Communication Law after attending law school or wanting to find out what it's like to practice in this legal field. This panel will explore the diverse field of media law and include panelists from across the country. Panelists include attorneys with experience in large firms, small firms, non-profits, and in-house. The panel will be moderated by Paul McAdoo with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press in Nashville, TN, and will include Brendan Healey, founding partner at Baron Harris Healey in Chicago, IL and former in-house attorney at Tribune Company, Tina Salvato, an associate with Davis Wright Tremaine in Los Angeles, CA, Keith Allen, Of Counsel with Evans and Dixon in Chicago, IL, and David Snyder, Executive Director with the First Amendment Coalition in San Rafael, CA.
