Protect Your Peers: Learn from US Immigration History

The Associated Students President (ASOP), External Vice President of Statewide Affairs (EVPSA), and Student Advocate General (SAG) are hosting a week of events under the “Protect Your Peers” initiative. These efforts are centered around creating a safe and prepared campus for when ICE comes to UCSB. This event will be a Teach-In, led by ASAM Professor John Park, that will cover a brief history of immigration in the US and lessons about how figures of the past responded to similar crises to the current political climate.
