UCSB Library invites graduate students to learn how to use ORCID in your research. ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a unique, persistent digital identifier that you own and control, and that distinguishes you from every other researcher. Snacks available.

In this workshop we will cover:
• Creating a free ORCID ID and managing your ORCID account
• Placing your publications in ORCID
• Funding, publisher, and research institution requirements
• Tips and tricks for the best use of ORCID, especially through name and institution changes

Please register in advance. https://ucsb.libwizard.com/f/orcid
This will ensure that you receive the pre-workshop email with instructions for what you need to do on your computer ahead of time.

Please contact Kristen LaBonte or Chuck Huber with any questions.
