Our esteemed judges for this round are:

• Elisabeth Weber (Professor of Germanic and Slavic Studies)
• Shiva Balaghi (Academic Coordinator of the Area Global Initiative, Center for Middle Eastern Studies, East Asia Center, and Latin American and Iberian Studies)
• Alyssa Lawson (Graduate Student in Psychological & Brain Sciences and 2022 Grad Slam Finalist)
• Jessy Gonzalez (Undergraduate Student in Chemical Engineering)
• Sarah Sinclair (Advertising Director at the Santa Barbara Independent)

Over $1,500 in prize money will be given out each round, including:

• $1,000 for 1st place and advancement to the Final Round on April 14
• $500 for the runner up
• $25 gift cards for raffled off for all other presenters (5 per round)
