The Physics Drag Disco is a Dance/Competition Event at the UCEN Hub. We have a Make up Table to help those doing amateur Drag, Pride Photo Booth, Dance floor, and Food. Our Scheduled Events are a Lip-sync Battle and  Walk off. These events will be judged by one of our physics advisors, who is a Drag Queen,  and the President of Undergraduate Diversity and Inclusion in Physics.

If you would like to compete, please RSVP on Shoreline by Monday, May 15th!

The American Physical Society states "Over one third of LGBT+ physicists considered leaving their department or workplace last year." In an environment that is consistently hostile towards LGBTQ+ identities, this event serves to uplift and celebrate LGBTQ+ people in physics. We intend to foster a safe space for non-conforming gender expression to support our non-binary and trans scientists, as well as in general providing a safe space for queer joy.
