Birding Identification Workshop! We are here for the birds! An Outdoor Learning Experience (OLE) Series

UC Santa Barbara Department of Recreation's Adventure Programs is stoked to offer Outdoor Learning Experience virtual workshops presented by one of our staff in an online format for the UCSB community.

We are here for the birds! Come join us this fall for an introductory online bird identification workshop for beginners to learn more about birds, create bird enthusiast connections and inspire amateur birders in their local backyards, neighborhoods, and/or any accessible outdoor environments.

OLE Online Workshops are an hour or less in time per presentation. Workshops emphasize skills and techniques essential to outdoor learning. An OLE workshop is a practical introduction to inspire responsible outdoor recreation.

Created for students and staff, perfect for groups or orgs, ideal for every outdoor enthusiast, an OLE workshop is both entertaining and educational. 45-60 minutes including interactive zoom presentation and Q/A format plus optional introductory pre-workshop videos.
