Step into wellness with our first-ever step challenge! Join us for this two week (August 3 - August 16) challenge focusing on physical health, and featuring wellness challenges. Learn tools to live a healthy life and compete with your friends and colleagues! This challege is open to all UCSB students, staff, faculty, and community members. 

You can record your steps using any step tracking device including a Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin Watch, the health app on your phone, etc. Winners of the contest will be asked to submit proof at the end of the competition, so please keep that in mind. 

In addition to the daily physical challenge, everyday will be themed with an aspect of living a healthy lifestyle including Mindfulness, Sleep, Hydration, Gratitude, Nutrition, Socialness, and Self-Care. Get extra points and learn some healthy tips by participating in these challenges.

How to Participate:
  1. Download the Goosechase App and join the game “UCSB Step Up Your Summer” or use Game Code 5DGGDV
  2. Pick your step tracking device! You can record your steps using any step tracking device including a Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin Watch, the health app on your phone, etc. 
  3. Participate in daily step and wellness challenges
  4. Have fun and learn the tools to live a healthy lifestyle!
