The Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ students and advocates to support the mission and goals of the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity at UC Santa Barbara. Volunteers will specifically work on the RCSGD's publicity efforts, lead a creative project of their own, and develop leadership skills for their professional and career goals.
Volunteer Duties:
- Attend one Volunteer Training per year
- Self-assign to assist with co-facilitating events and discussion spaces
- Self assign to assist with RCSGD duties as needed (primarily button making, tabling, and flier distribution)
Breakdown of Volunteer Duties
- 1 2-hour Volunteer Training (Fall, Winter, or Spring)
- 1 hour reviewing Volunteer Training Materials
- 1+ hour event cofacilitation
- Attend RCSGD Events
