Interested in volunteering with the RCSGD? Register here to apply to be part of the Marsha P. Johnson Volunteer Program! Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the academic year - we're always looking for more wonderful folks to join our community. After you apply, you will receive details of your acceptance on the following week.

The Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ students and advocates to support the mission and goals of the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity at UC Santa Barbara. Volunteers will specifically work on the RCSGD's publicity efforts, lead a creative project of their own, and develop leadership skills for their professional and career goals.

Volunteer Duties:
- Attend one Volunteer Training per year
- Self-assign to assist with co-facilitating events and discussion spaces
- Self assign to assist with RCSGD duties as needed (primarily button making, tabling, and flier distribution)

Breakdown of Volunteer Duties
- 1 2-hour Volunteer Training (Fall, Winter, or Spring)
- 1 hour reviewing Volunteer Training Materials
- 1+ hour event cofacilitation
- Attend RCSGD Events

If you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to the RCSGD Outreach Coordinator at qtoutreach@sa.ucsb.edu for clarification. We look forward to reviewing your application!
