This conference aims to inspire students to think critically about veganism from multiple perspectives, including impacts on health, concerns about speciesism, cultural histories, and considerations of the environment. Speakers will include UCSB professors David Cleveland, Renan Larue, Yanoula Athanassakis, Ph.D candidate Solaire Denaud, and executive lead of Rooted Santa Barbara Beth Skidmore.

Food Provided (Vegan food will be catered by the Isla Vista Food Co-op following the event. )
